Default I say yesterday was the bottom. The Dow goes upwards from here.

I hope I'm right.

So far so good Nick. BTW, why do you say that? You got some inside info?

I would remind many here that rallies often occur in bear markets.

There were several 20% plus rallies following the crash of 1929.

Plan accordingly.

We are a long way from a recovery.

I was just speaking in regards to Nicks prediction. The graphs look like an EEG of a Heart patient.

I heard Phoenix is leading the nation in the number of foreclosures. Is that true?

I think that you are right Nick. I urge you to buy shares in Dominion Home Inspectors Inc. before they go way up with this recovering market.

I'm with Mike here, we had a few 15% relief rallys fizzle since the September lows. Bottoms do not normally look like this... Everyone was anticipating a rally so it is doubtful that this is it, and the VIX was way too low to show a capitulation bottom. All & all... Nope, we have a long way to go yet.

Your thinking like a Capitalist Nick. Dear Leader has declared the end of Capitalism and imposed Socialism on us. They are busy nationalizing banks, car companies and raising taxes to the levels they see in Europe. Soon the health care industy will be taken over and the insurance companies. Unemployment rates could hit 30%. I think we'll see Dow 500 right before they suspend the 2010 elections due to economic collapse and Dear Leader becomes our benevolant ruler for life. But, maybe that's just me. We cannot survive Obama's spending. Billions for social programs and not one dime for stimulus.
