Default Service Area

What is a good service area? What do you charge for traveling outside of this area?

I was thinking of a 25 mile radius.

Set your area as large as you need to acquire the amount of business you want.

If you want to do 10 per week and you can do that within a 10 mile radius, great, if not expand.

In small towns your area may be bigger, in densely populated areas, your area may be smaller.

A good service area is where there are lots of inspections.

I don't have a specifically defined "service area", but inspections way out in the boonies generally have higher fees.

If the client is willing to pay, I'm willing to drive.

I raise my prices for anything over a 45 minute drive.
