Good will? When did we have the good will of the entire planet? A: Never. Post-9/11? Don't make me laugh. That lasted about a week as soon as they ascertained that only America was the target of these Islamo-whackos. The rest of the planet - save Great Britain, Japan and the peoples freed by us from Soviet hegemony - has already capitulated to the Muslims.

We had the world agreeing with us before?

I seem to recall that the World stood with us post 9/11.

What changed?

We acted. Many of them appeased.

What has that gotten them?

I don't believe our president is great. I believe him to be an embarrassment to our country. We are in a war that has cost us billions of dollars and done nothing but kill young men and women, not to mention children in Iraq. We have other countries hating us. No he cannot speak worth a darn and when I do see him on TV I can only take the amount of time it takes for me to find the remote to turn him off. When he has to speak impromtu he is even worse than bad. Yes he is a passionate individual who leaves little doubt as to what HE thinks and believes. It's all about him. He should be quiet and listen more.

And just who should he listen to. The terrorists and those who want to appease them?

Cheryl, all choices have consequences. I have to agree with Mr. Ferry. George W. Bush IS the right man for the time that we find ourelves in.
I'm very glad he is there and desires to actually defend this country.

Our country is headed in the wrong direction from Iraq to the economy to health care and education. Bush puts the interest of oil ahead of helping our own communities. Our troops are stuck in the middle of a war in Iraq that has created MORE terrorists and has put our country at even a greater risk.
Do you really feel safer and more secure now? yes we can be thankful for all of Bush's great plans that have worked out so well.

Well yes I do Cheryl. I'm very glad that the terrorist are staying where they are for the moment. How about you?

The charge of this was all done for OIL is not new.
As you may recall that charge was also made for gulf War I. Oil dropped precipitously following the war to $10 a barrel. How did that help Bush's buddies? Now the same charge is made following the war in Iraq. Oil shot to all time high above $70 a barrel and have only recently begun to fall. Which war wars for oil interests? There is an answer IMHO.

When did healthcare become the responsibility of the government?
They do little but stand in the way of lowered prices.

I definitely feel safer and more secure under President Bush. I have a feeling that I'm not only going to feel less safe but be less safe on Wednesday, though.

The economy is sure heading in the wrong direction

The Dow is hovering just over 12000---
A greater percentage of the population has been able to buy their own home than ever before (even the so-called "slow market" is little more than a price correction--brought about mainly by over-enthusiastc Realtors)---
The employment percentage rate is the highest in more than a century---

Why, if this sort of thing continues some people may even become happy---

ummm hello Jae.....the reason more people are able to buy their own home is the so called loans they are offered. No down payment....interest only loans. The cost of living is escalating faster than the wages.

Not likely Jay. At least until a Democrat is in control. The president only gets credit for a good economy if he has D after his name.

Used to be the party in power got the credit wether it was deserved or not.

The current strength of our economy is due entirely to the tax cuts that President Bush championed. He deserves complete credit for it.

The lefties won't be happy until the tax cuts are repealed and the economic gains have been reversed.

I suspect they won't be happy then either. They seemingly love misery. Why else would they be against tax cuts, National Security etc.
