Default Should BP nuke the leaking well?

Should BP nuke the leaking well? | Vote Washington and BP have repeatedly dismissed the idea, but talk of an extreme solution refuses to die.

With their track record thus far do you really want BP or the current gov't to be doing anything that involves explosives? So far they haven't managed to do anything right. No telling what catastrophic chain reaction they might start if they start blowing things up a mile under the Gulf. This has been the biggest cluster---- already, we don't need any new ones.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

- John Stuart Mill

When the only tool you possess or know how to operate is a hammer all problems begin to look like nails, couple that with the only thing we really know how to do anymore is blow sh!t up and you have the makings of a potential nasty major FUBAR in the works.
