Signature credit card service

Hey all,
I’m just wondering how many inspectors are using the ‘signature’ credit card services (card reader machine) that are offered at a discount. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suspect InterNACHI (the association) is the biggest user of the InterNACHI deal: http://www.nachi.org/free-merchant-account.htm We process about 2.5 million dollars a year and are very pleased as it is saving us about $35,000/year.

Yes I just got mine in the mail this week. You need to process through around $1600 worth for it to make sense as they have a $15 minimum monthly service fee, meaning they need to make $15, or you get charged a monthly fee, but $1600 through cc is a paltry sum. .09% per swipe is hard to say no to when square and paypal are at 2.7%. Just money you’re giving away for no reason when Nick got us this deal to use.
