The CPSC provides this recall information, and when these were included in a regular message I received from one of my contacts, I thought of NACHI and posted it right away.

I am sure the operation of the disconnect switch would not be performed by the inspector, but the notice will be noted I am sure.

The defective ceiling fans are also noted and will be remembered.

I see hundred's of recall notices at www.CPSC.gov and many are electrical defects, what's going on, who gives the manufacturers recognition through the electrical safety standards process?
