Perhaps it is a ploy by E&O companies to get the notice out to the RE companies that there are more and more home inspector "claims" and that all home inspectors should get, or get more, insurance.

Agents should concentrate on themselves, and their buddy contractors who often complain that "the inspector missed it".

Agents are telling clients to go after inspectors because they have insurance . I had it once . Lady actually told me what the agent aid, nothing came out of though.

That's why we (inspectors) might be better off not having E&O.
