Small and petty people who fail to even qualify for a front row seat to observe such great and historic figures feel compelled to attack them in an attempt to reduce them to their own size.

They fail, miserably, in that process.

I'm often reminded as to how the religious conservatives....the established church and its firmly entrenched culture of its day....found Jesus to be a loud mouthed liberal who refused to accept and follow the traditions of their "founders". They put him to death for having the audacity to make himself equal to God.

Today, as then, these instruments of Satan who consider themselves as righteous...would most assuredly repeat the blunder of their ancestors....and probably have, unknowingly..... dozens of times.

Beginning with JFK's support for Civil Rights and the legislation he introduced being pushed through by Johnson...and ending with EMK's fight for health care.....very few modern political figures have done more to improve the social status and welfare of the minority of any country. We are a better country than we would have been without them.
