Default Termite WDO

I have 3 years working under an operator and am elegible now to sit for the operators exam. I'm hesitant to get the license as I will be adding additional requirements etc and I just want to continue to perform WDO's. I'd appreciate any feedback from any of you that have gone for the exam to do your own WDO's . I'm not sure its worth the extra requirements ie; Gen liability, E & O etc. SOmetimes you loose the business if you don't perform the WDO.
