Is there a problem here?

I inspected a garage recently and found the entire thing was sheathed with proboard. I guess proboard wasn't meant to withstand the elements.

Nope. No problem there. They were thinking ahead when they had to go through all the trouble of removal! It's a lot easier with that material instead of that tough plywood or osb (who needs that crap) that would be nailed down, long lasting and proper. Plus, that stuff can be heavy...... Some people just don't know any better. If it weren't for them, there would be no darwin award winners.
