Fact? Yes. depend on interpretation? No. That which is literal is to be taken literally. That which is allegory is a lesson.

They get people to mine if for $.05 a day (exageration) and then ship it to the US. Their labor is dirt cheap and the US cannot compete. Hence it goes to the lowest price has nothing to do with supply and demand!

We have a large need for phone personnel people for Microsoft and other companies and yet India gets the jobs. IS there no NEED? No the truth is simply bottom line cost!

So I ask you again, just because we DRILL in the US, why does that mean it will be cheaper. You said it would. What are your facts? Do you have a cost analysis of US oil per barrel and the cost of oil imported. Once the US has their supply of oil and produces it, what makes you think they will not raise the price?

Name something produced in the US that isn't cheaper else where? I am asking...I can't think of anything. Hence we have become the serive industry for the world and our own people without producing hardly anything...

radio carbon dating is only one of about 24 different measurements used to determine the earths age, and only one of 2 that dates the earth at an age of greater than 100,000 years. The pre-supposition of the process is dependent upon half lives of elements, whereas if an element breaks down into another element the age of the rock can be determined by the percentage of the progeny compared to the percentage of the parent. The holes in this pre-supposition are huge, and numerous. I'll state two: 1) the pre-suppostion totally discounts the possiblity of contamination and addition of the progeny element into the sample from another source. 2) the pre-suppostion assumes that the half life of the element is a fact, when it is itself a pre-supposition.

Did not mean to name call. Your a very intelligent guy and I like the debate. Why should we give more? First of all do you clear over 250K a year? If no, then why worry?

For the last 100 years there have been people who abuse the system. That is true with EVERY system. So the down syndrome person who cannot make a living and his/her parents have passed should be left in the cold? No we need to HELP them. I have no problem in helping others. No one has put a gun to my head. WAIT, how can Obama put a gun to my head, I thought you said he was taking them all away.

Lets see, we have a 10 trillion dollar defecit. There is only ONE way to cure this. Cut spending and generate more money. So I guess he should have the people who make minimum wage should pay more. Hell they are just a pimple on the arse of society. Lets screw them! Once again, if I net over 250K. I do not bucking up more.

Fact-Generally, a fact is defined as something that is true, something that actually exists, or something having objective reality that can be verified according to an established standard of evaluation.

Can anything in the Bible "have an objective reality that can be verified according to an established standard of evaluation" or does it point to something "that actually exists"?

Prove it to be false. People much smarter than you an I have been attempting that for a couple of thousand years to no avail.

I have no idea what you are talking about.

We have a large need for phone personnel people for Microsoft and other companies and yet India gets the jobs. IS there no NEED? No the truth is simply bottom line cost!

All business desire to maximize profits for their shareholders or owners.

So I ask you again, just because we DRILL in the US, why does that mean it will be cheaper. You said it would. What are your facts? Do you have a cost analysis of US oil per barrel and the cost of oil imported. Once the US has their supply of oil and produces it, what makes you think they will not raise the price?

You cannot ignore supply and demand no matter how much you want to. Sorry.

BTW-If you had oil in your backyard and could put it in a barrel for $.05, how much would you charge for it?

Name something produced in the US that isn't cheaper else where? I am asking...I can't think of anything. Hence we have become the serive industry for the world and our own people without producing hardly anything...
It's a shame you have such a low opinion of your fellow Americans.

It's the best place in the world bar none.
That's why so many want to come here.

May I suggest a book for you called Freedomnomics by John Lott(a PHD economist)

Perfect, so you've given another perspective on the credibility of the evidence. Now, tell me some empirical evidence from the Bible.

You are a TRUE republican. Just because I do not believe in the systems. I have to be ANTI AMERICAN.

Who said I can get it out of my yard for $.05 a barrel? What if it costs me a total of $156 a barrel with laboir costs, union fees, hurricanes wiping them out.

That's exactly where the debate ends. Either with "God wanted it that way" or "prove the Bible wrong". Again, you can't debate religion with facts or logic. It will always come down to faith.

Since you're the one claiming the bible is unreliable please demonstrate you contention by giving an example.

It's a large book on many topics so your assistance would be appreciated.
