I'll assume you wern't this time.

There is ample evidence for the life of Jesus of Nazareth.
What evidence would you accept?
Anything empirical.

That's extremely vague.

Do you realize the number of times that archeology has shown the bible to be correct with reference to individuals and cities when it was claimed earlier that it could not possibly be so?

[quote=kpierce;427611]Yes. Just as you did in post #89.[quote]Here is my quote for #89:
Quote:
Since you're the one claiming the bible is unreliable please demonstrate you contention by giving an example.

It's a large book on many topics so your assistance would be appreciated.
Now where did I ask you to prove a negative?

I was simply asking you to offer something from the bible that you did not agree with. Sorry for any confusion on my part.

Good point. Now how about a logical argument that starts with that pre-supposition.

Kevin can not, nor does he believe, that anyone, can or ever will prove even part of the Bible wrong.

Therefore, only those parts of the Bible that can be proven to be true either already have been, or will be in the future.

Therefore, only those parts that cannot be proven true or false must be accepted or rejected based upon faith in the credibility of the information.

Therefore, since everything that can be proven to be true either has been or will be, then those things that can't be proven to be true may be accepted as such based on the proven credibility of the other parts.

In summary, the Bible is true. QED

Now that that's out of the way, what were we talking about before you brought up this discussion on people of faith not accepting evidence and facts?

You think that most of the free worlds population would generate a calendar based off the birth of Buggs Bunny?

BTW, its Christ, not Chirst

This has been a busy week. I'm off to bed. You can argue in circles with Mike.

Already have been? Which ones? Everyone can pray and hope I guess. But we all now pray and hope have nothing to due with facts and logic.

At least, in the end, you understand where this debate goes. I tried to point that out in the beginning.
