Default Re: Tidbits from the ASHI Message Board

ASHI's message board remains, for the most part, really dead.

There is an interestingly funny thread going on with a debate among members as to whether or not candidates/associates should be allowed to wear ASHI clothing that bears the ASHI logo on it.

The idea of these clowns spending their time debating such an issue is funnier than any of their posts, so I won't bore you with the actual stuff...unless it is requested.

Aside from that, I'm afraid that you would find it more interesting to read a telephone book than anything being posted over there at the moment.

I have a great idea for a new shirt for them:

"Shazazm, I'm a diploma mill associate, RU?"

I suppose that the ASHI BoD have officially concluded that Scott Patterson has failed in his job as chairman of the committee tasked to increase membership...and have taken an already depleted fund and invested in a "recruiting consultant".

Poor Eric Barker is chastised by one of the directors for having the audacity to ask how much ASHI is spending in this endeavor. So much for their democratic, open and "right to know" disclosure policies on spending of their dues.

If you listen closely, you can probably hear the "fat lady" warming up in the wings....

I see from the on-line newsletter that we're going to be paying anotherconsulting company. Anyone know the amount of the "necessary funding"?

I know. It was the amount necessary to hire the consultant with the best chanceof doing the job that we felt needed to be done and getting it right.

Oahi in Ontario has stated that anyone wearing apparel with the OAHI RHI logo on clothing that is not permitted to use the logo or RHI will be punished too.

How stupid is that. Draconian?

Interesting, indeed.

Especially since they will sell it to you, without question.
