Hi. Guys , this may be a little off the home inspection topic but I was just asked to build a toy storage chest for x-mas for our adorable 4 year old grand daughter. Does anyone know of any web sites that offer free downloadable plans for such a project? Thanks.

Google for free plans shows up alot of crap but I use Rockler Catalog for many plans that are top notch and inexpensive (usually under $10) plus they carry all the hardware and parts you could ever dream of needing. Great company to do business with too.

I've built some of Norms projects in the past. The plans are excellent...

Fred if you want something unusual, you can take branches and plane them onto a less expensive or distressed chest.
In other words use them as a veneer. |
