Default Trademark Infringement by True North Inspections

True North Inspections is using a tag line (or one that is "confusingly similar") that is a registered Trademark of mine.

http://truenorthinspections.net/ 800-594-4053

Use of another's trademark (or one that is confusingly similar) is infringement and the basis for a lawsuit for damages for unfair competition and/or a petition for an injunction against the use of the infringing trademark.

infringement n. 1) a trespassing or illegal entering. 2) in the law of patents (protected inventions), and copyrights (protected writings or graphics), the improper use of a patent, writing, graphic or trademark without permission, without notice, and especially without contracting for payment of a royalty. Even though the infringement may be accidental (an inventor thinks he is the first to develop the widget although someone else has a patent), the party infringing is responsible to pay the original patent or copyright owner substantial damages, which can be the normal royalty or as much as the infringers' accumulated gross profits.

True North Inspections stealing a tag line?

How can you trust them to do anything right, or trust them in your home, if they have to steal someone else's work to puff up their own credentials.

SHAME ON TRUE NORTH INSPECTIONS FOR BEING SUCH LOWLIFES.

When a consumer is hiring an inspector to assist them in making such a huge financial investment ... they must be able to trust in his judgment as well as his personal integrity. Both of these are essential for one to be able to provide a complete, accurate and unbiased description of a home in a home inspection report.

The inspector doing business as Able Home Inspections is apparently deficient in both of these critical areas and prudent consumers will not risk their safety or their financial stability by hiring him to do a home inspection for him.

Not only has True North Inspections decided to steal a trademark for person use, they have the gall to put a copywrite notation at the bottom of their home page.

If you waste time to peruse their sample report, they also use a well known diploma mill SOP instead of the SOP of the State of Washington as required by law.

Does True North Inspections do anything correctly?

Odd Google hasn't cashed this YET.

Gee Russell, it looks like you have Able Home Inspections in Florida stealing trademarked material just like True North Inspections is stealing trademarked material.

Two almost identical thieves at the opposite corners of the country. Able Home Inspections and True North Inspections. Cross Country thieves.

Guess a company in Seattle Washington, True North Home Inspections will have some explaining to do.

Sad, sad, to take from others, not honest by any stretch of the imagination.

You are right Dale. The trademark infringement by True North Home Inspections in Seattle is just the first wrong thing. They will also have to answer to the State Department of Licensing for failing to use the State Standards of Practice and using a known diploma mill SOP instead. Shame on True North Home Inspections.
