The following is a query that Joe Ferry posed yesterday in the Members Only section in the Confidence Poll thread, I gave him my pat answer which follows his quote, but the topic deserves a more complete answer which I thought best belongs on this thread.

BTW, I still don't know what Joe Farsetta is claiming was said, there are so many threads on this issue.

My Answer
As far as concerned members do we just allow the public insubordination of Mr. Farsetta go unchallenged, is Mr. Farsetta above the Code of Ethics for this organization?

If Mr. Farsetta is unwilling to concede authority to the office of the Executive Director then how should the membership proceed?
After slugging thorough all of the dissertation I have come to this conclusion.
  1. Most likely there are tapes.
  2. Most likely there was some type of discussion regarding a Nick-less NACHI.
The discussion should take no one by surprise as Nick himself has talked openly and publicly about a reduced role within NACHI. The problem as I see it is with who reacted (Mr. Farsetta) and the reaction (insubordination) to discovering someone or a group of someones talking about NACHI's future apart from Nick.

Regardless if the talk was about a sinister coup d'état or of a democratic member-driven Nick-less NACHI, or really anything in between, it is obvious that if Nick were to leave NACHI Mr. Farsetta would loose his power-base.

From where I sit, Mr. Farsetta is the one individual who without a doubt thwarts every progressive attempt to move NACHI to a member-driven organization.
  • Mr. Farsetta was the root cause of the dysfunction of the first member committee (I can't recall their name sometime back in 2003) which was subsequently disbanded.
  • It is Mr. Farsetta who stymies the education committee and keeps them from promoting & adopting higher standards.
  • It was Mr. Farsetta who holds his thumb on the MAB and keeps them in an diminished advisory role and they unlike him were duly elected by the membership to represent the membership.
  • Mr. Farsetta endorsement of Mr. Bushart's appointment to the ESOP committee was a smack in the face to each and every NACHI member and bordered on abuse of power.
I suggest, in a Nick-less NACHI Mr. Farsetta would be faced with a huge reduction in power and authority due to his unelectable status and in an end-that-justifies-the-means scenario he will do whatever it takes to remain in power. It is also my opinion that no real membership reform will take place within this association as long as Mr. Farsetta maintains his choke-hold on all of the meaningful committees. It is very clear to me that any proposal of greater membership control within this organization will be met by Mr. Farsetta with force to maintain the status-quo. This will be my last post on this subject unless there is a vast revelation of new information. I realize now the in-your-face answer to this post will be if you don't like NACHI move to Iraq, but like Mr. Farsetta I ain't budging either.

That story cannot possibly be true. Everyone knows that indian children are named based on the first thing that the mother witnesses after the birth. This may explain why Joe B.'s indian name is "Two Dogs F@cking"

Joe B., a well written assessment. I have no idea who Joe F. is or what he does and does not do behind the scenes, but I appreciate reading your views and think any opposition will be hard pressed to match it.

There are also some who try to dominate the board with cover-ups, and praises for people, even when there are questions to be answered.

Conspiracy theorys here were not made up. They were brought up, it is suprising to me that someone who has not heard the tapes, and doesn't care about the illegal recordings can just blow it off, and sing praises of those who are suspected.

Joe B.

I'm simply not going to permit you all to keep misquoting me. I never said that if you don't like Joe Farsetta or don't like NACHI move to Iraq.

I said if you don't like that I share the same equal rights as any other member to voice my opinion of Joe Farsetta on this message board, move to Iran.

I am a member just like you and entitled to post just like you.

By the way... you didn't even get the country quoted correctly... I didn't say Iraq... I said Iran.
