Default Up to 15 home inspectors needed in Detroit area.

Help Wanted

10-15 Home Inspectors needed for the Detroit metro area. We will train the right candidates. This is a legitimate career opportunity. You will NOT be asked to make an investment or pay any fees.

This is the ideal opportunity for a person who is looking for the benefits of being self employed without the headaches of running a business. This part time/contract position is ideal for a talented and energetic person who would like to be a part of one of the fastest growing industries in North America. The work schedule is light enough that a person who already has a full time position can continue in their present position and earn some extra income. There is enough work available and future growth anticipated that the positions could quickly grow into a full time position. Initially, candidates should expect to devote at least 10-15 hours weekly. Inspectors will be assigned to separate but overlapping territories.

A construction or home repair background would be a definite plus but is not required. The successful candidate must be very comfortable meeting and working with a wide range of people and personality types.

We will provide the software and other essential business tools. The candidate must own their own transportation, miscellaneous hand tools, suitable clothing, and access to a PC on which to write reports. This is an ideal position for a skilled person who has other responsibilities and needs a very flexible work schedule, a semi-retired person, or someone looking for a career change. Inspections can be performed at any time during daylight hours.

Candidates must be willing to complete a 40 hour classroom training program. We will pay for the training for the right candidates but the candidates must be willing to provide their own transportation to Toledo for training. Candidates will not be paid for classroom training time. Experienced certified candidates will not be required to complete the classroom training but the training is available to them at no charge.

Michigan presently does not license home inspectors. Licensing may be required in the future. In the event that licensing becomes mandatory, the inspector will be required to obtain the necessary license. Candidates must be willing to take a pre-qualifying examination in Toledo. Candidates must also take the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors (NACHI) certification examination under our supervision. Inspectors must become members in good standing in NACHI within six months of performing their first inspection. We will pay the membership fees.

This is a legitimate career opportunity. You will NOT be asked to make an investment or pay any fees. We are seeking approximately 15 inspectors throughout the Detroit and Toledo Metro areas. Candidates will be trained together in groups of 4-6 at our Toledo location. Classes will take place one or two days a week over a period of several weeks. We will pay for the training.
The position requires working with sensitive financial and proprietary information, and trade secrets. The successful candidate must be willing to sign non-disclosure and non-compete agreements and must be bondable.
