This message board is one of the cleanest message boards on the internet. It auto deletes foul language. Then we have a staffer who looks for and removes offensive posts. Then we have a policy whereby we immediately remove any offensive post that anyone alerts us to.

Considering there are over 30,000 threads and hundreds of thousands of posts, this message board is super clean.

Most of the posts we've had to remove were made by members, so having the credit card numbers of non-members wouldn't prevent members from making these offensive posts. We would still have to do what we do now and remove them by hand to keep the InterNACHI message board one of the cleanest on the internet.

Nick, with all due respect to the efforts that are currently in place, this message board is not one of the best, but one of the worst. Most have policies in place that are strictly enforced (members and non-members alike). As a matter of fact, this is the only one that I've visited that just obscures foul language. Most delete the posts and exile the poster.

As to posts being offensive, there's no law or rule that guarantees not being offended. People are offended all the time. Someone is going to be offended by what you just posted, and someone will be offended by my post here. That's just life.

I think what most of us want taken care of are the: attacks, name calling, foul language, graphic/pornographic language, general un-professional comments etc. Even when they are coming from non-members, or exiled members under new names.
