There is a long history here. It was not originally started by Jim. The points made are valid. Leave it at that.

But, the concept of stolen valor in the US is real enough to have prompted the passage of Federal law to deal with it. The penalties are fairly severe.

He is entitled to his view on the matter, especially as Jim is also a decorated veteran. We have lots of them here at NACHI. The point is to honor all who served. But, if you make a claim, you should be able to validate it.

I Feel this is not my concern or business.
I can not see where it helps the home inspector industry to be dragging this non stop on The NACHI BB.
If it was in any way associated with Home inspection then I guess it could have a reason to be debated here.
I and others frequently deviate some times but to continue this subject where ,I wonder if it should be followed up by the legal system.
I see no advantage to keep the fire burning on the NACHI site.
