Too bad, I see Mr. Vass deleted his posts. I, myself thought his critiques were good, and I would enjoy seeing more healthy discussion here about the different participants.

What if we put each nominated site up as a separate thread to discuss good and bad .

I think it might draw more interest to the contest and be educational for all.

Anyone object?

Let's see if I follow your logic Bob. We have a thread where everyone votes, this usually generates about 40 or so votes, now you want to separate this into 8 separate discussions, to get more people involved???

Can't see it myself.

At the least, set up a free site with InterNACHI.

Or, I'll give you a site on our service for free for a year ($300 value). If you don't get any inspections off of it, then don't continue it next year. I won't take any credit card information or anything so you don't have to worry about being auto billed.

Even though you might be in a small area, by having a website, if you have any competition when someone goes to find out more about the inspector, they will find out more about you through your site. Then you'll be the inspector they book.
Leah,

I can't believe you're not jumping all over this offer.

Everyone can and does "talk" here. Why break it down to 8 seperate threads and complicate things?

www.downriverhomeinspection.com definitely needs more content on the home page. Right now it's just a list of zip codes, which I would move to another page as well as it detracts from the appeal of the site.

Very nice job with the certifications, but I'd shrink them slightly and make them go 2 across.

I'd also add a picture of yourself to make the page more personal and connect with your potential clients.

Add your email address as well.

Change your page URL's to be more relevant, http://downriverhomeinspection.com/contactus.aspx should be something like http://downriverhomeinspection.com/c...inspector.aspx

I'll post on the others as time goes on! Hopefully bumping the thread back up will help some.

I agree Dom
From a aesthetic standpoint it appears to start in the middle of an article.

The top has those dots going across that seem to lead to nothing as the thumbnail picture is on the left side.

If this is an individual Inspector, why not include a contact name with that phone number.

Make it personal unless this is a multinational conglomerate.

To often i see Inspectors trying to look like they have some big office with 100,000 sq feet of operators standing by

Now how about adding a good reason why I should call .

The zip code thing may help SEO in some way but seems out of place the way it is presented.

First page is what really matters before adding the rest!
