You are right......and actually the hint of excuses already began with his victory speech..........
"The road ahead will be long. Our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even in one term."
The basic phrased used from all politicians......you need to keep me in office as long as possible.

"There will be setbacks and false starts. There are many who won't agree with every decision or policy I make as president."
That's another way of saying that the troops will still be in Iraq next year this time.

"And we know the government can't solve every problem." Really, that is what we conservatives have been preaching.....now that you get in office you readily admit it......(laugh). Obama will be to democrats what the Bush's have been to conservatives......a great disappointment.

I disagree with you about the whole "racism thing is over"..............as long as you have the Jackson's, Farrakans, Wrights, and your basic political ghetto pimps who make a living through such divisiveness (and the media making headlines off it as well), racism will always be used as an excuse for under-achievers. We may say they won't have any excuses hereafter but they will still use the same lines.

The Dems have all three branches locked up.......the US will truly regret what they have done.......as mentioned in one of the earlier threads.......one only has to look at the condition California is in to see what this country has in store. Socialism has never worked and never will.

I am actually somewhat glad.......in the sense that this will cause the republican party to finally realize that moderates are worse than liberal........
I personally did a write in vote for the person that said this; " I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth."

3. Scour projects for job.
4. Get on healthcare waiting list.
5. Call and wish new allies, Cuba and Venezuela well!
6. Call Israel and wish them well now that they are on their own.
7. Plan trip to show children and grandchildren new coal mining, and US constitution museums.
8. Find new underground church, hidden well from mosque.
9. Help new neighbor Bill Gates find job.
10. Make sure horse and buggy are serviced.
11. Scrap Auto's that I can't afford to drive with $12.00 a gallon gas.
12. Get out my bow and kill dinner.
13. Watch the new national News channel MSNBC to see comparisons to other 3rd world countries
14. Build fire to keep family warm (electric bill has skyrocketed)
15. Count money to see how long it will be before have enough to migrate to Free World.
16. Say prayer for American Conservative Rebel freedom fighters in war against UN.
17. Try to get some sleep!
18. Laugh at all that voted for Obama that have visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads that think they are going to get rich off the top 10% that fled the country.
