There are a few excellent National Home Inspection Organizations out there looking out for our collective interests. These provide terrific lobbying power and are a large voice for those of us who feel small in the industry. InterNACHI has taken the position of not just being a voice but a superior resource for the educational needs of our industry. This education arm is not just for the novice or entry inspector buy they have a tremendous offering of advanced courses as well. These include commercial inspections, environmental inspections, energy and Master Courses.

All of the National Associations charge about the same amount of money for their annual membership but the InterNACHI membership provides all of their continuing education and literature at no additional cost. In most cases their internal education provides continuing education credits for the individual licensed states as well.

This is a tremendous opportunity for you to maintain your State’s educational requirements, boost your inspection skill set and possibly become certified in a different discipline within the home inspection business model.
