As you are all aware, the State of Maryland is requiring licensing for all Home Inspectors beginning January 1, 2008.
Unless you have been grandfathered by the State, you must complete a State approved school in order to be licensed. Many of us have been through a school that was 32-48 hours in length but the State Commission has not accepted all the hours from that school. We now have to find a school that will supplement our formal education and assist us in our quest to be licensed by the State of Maryland.

The Chesapeake Chapter of NACHI has been working with the Home Inspectors Training Academy (HITA) to provide a solution for our members. What we were searching for and have found was a quality-training supplement at a special negotiated price for our membership.
