Default Code Alert - MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA 10 Jan 08

For your informaiton...

Quote:
Montgomery, Alabama adopted the 2008 National Electrical Code without amendment on January 3, 2008. However, the enforcement of AFCI devices in dwellings, NEC Section 210.12(B), the enforcement of tamper resistant devices in dwellings, NEC Section 406.11, and the enforcement of weather resistant receptacles, NEC Section 406.8(A) and 8(B) will be delayed until April1, 2008 because of concerns that the local electrical supply houses may not be able to supply all brands, all models, and all types of devices as of the current adoption date.
