Default Congress fails to reauthorize National Flood Insurance Program.
No one can currently buy flood insurance because of this.

Where is the private insurance industry on this coverage......non-existent or what?

Sounds like if it wasn't for the gov, there'd have been no insurance for some folks or so expensive that they couldn't afford it......might be better to move from the flood zone and take the loss on the property!!
