Tracy is right in some of the posts. EBPHI paid most of their debt. If memory serves me ASHI forgave some, but they finished paying off most of it off.

ASHI was still carrying their debt in 2004. I believe they also bought the intellectual rights to the exam & periodically pay something on that too.

Let's take the gloves off with good old Tracy, shall we. Even a dolt can recognize that this person is an absolute shill. He hasn't the BALLS to state who he really is, or what he is all about. Some of us know who he may be....

Now, I know we all like toying with him. He seems intelligent, and awfully "in the know" with regard to testing criteria, associations, and all that jazz.

They are all pretty much the same now. SOP, COE and CE requirements are all close to being about the same. Yes, they have some differences, but they are all similar. Even NAHI has gotten back in line with the mainstream.

What would be wrong with having a standardized entry exam for the profession? It would establish the bar for entry into the profession. For the life of me I can't see anything wrong or negative with a standardized entry exam for the profession that is administerd by a third party so it is equal and fair to all regardless of their professional affilation.

I have also learned that EBPHI is looking into the possibility of a true certification program that would use advanced testing, tenure in the profession and education as the requirements. This would be in direct compatition with ASHI. So I would say that EBPHI is not affiliated with ASHI any longer. With EBPHI being a third party with no organizational affiliation this just might work and it could also be the magic pill that could unite all of the organizations to a degree.

As to membership, lets set it as a representative republic, with the numbers of association representatives at the table set according to the number of association members. Wow.

Well, she stated that there were conversations with leaders of other associations, regardng the planned demise of NACHI, and breaking the businesses of its members. Were members of the EBPHI part of these conversations?

After reading countless posts by nickies certified inspectors stating,
OMG I'm going to put out of business due to,
The state is going to require me to prove that I completed basic HI training,
passed a minimum test showing that I have a clue of what we are required to know,
provide proof that I know how to write an inspection report,
provide proof that I ever completed an inspection,
passed a criminal back ground check,
passed a drug test,
provide proof that the inspector completed high school,
along with the other whining by inspectors that only qualifications could be simply paying nickey where no verifications are required to be marketed to the public as a certified inspector...
Why don't you go after the big bucks and sue the states and their employees while you at it.??

Once validated by her arrest, this information will be shared with legislators who have or are presently engaged with NAHI/ASHI led exclusionary legislative efforts. It has been obvious since post #7 that Tracy is not who he/she says he/she is. His/her blind loyalty to the EBPHI, and his/her wishes for one standardized test for the industry (naturally, the NHIE) is as transparent as glass. I have yet to meet a rookie that has any concerns other than how to inspect properly, what software to use, and how to market their new business.

We have our detractors and some of them are a few disgruntled members who left or were removed (and aren't wanted back, thank you) yet we still are doing just fine here at NACHI, thank you.

So, Tracy, what is your real name, and what position do you hold? We have no clue....
