Jay,
What is the time table on this, when does it go to the Gov?

It needs to pass the House. Once it is presented to the Gov. he has 14 days to veto or sign it. If he does nothing it becomes law.

Just heard on the news that the bill which would require homeowners to install hurricane shutters if they wanted to make improvements on their property was defeated. It appears that the Florida legislature is only paying lip service to the notion of hardening Florida homes.

There appears to be a reluctance on the part of Florida politicians to burden the homeowner with additional expense. Anyway to tie this fear into the bill now threatening home inspectors?
