"with the other kids"

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

Some groups have someone do the fingerprinting after their exams for large groups. They tell me they're good for 3 months.

We have a company nearby that will do it for us a couple days a week so we're not concerned. Almost the last thing (app & check) we have to do for the license.
Finally - an issue other than my intergrity.

YES we have looked into the figure printing issue:
We contacted the DBPR and tried to get the finger print cards so that we could have an off duty Sherrif at our exam sites for fignerprinting. The DBPR would not relase or sell them to us. Each individual license applicant will get one with their package.

Also - I did have a very nice long conversation with Chip. All is forgiven and forgotten.
I think many interNACHI members were simply surprised to see Florida interNACHI rise from the flames in such a quick manner - and were simply taken by surprise. But remember - this is NOT a new concept. We tried back in 2007 under Jay Schwartz (sp??) leadership to accomplish this same thing.
I am honored (and am tickled darn pink) that Nick had enough faith in me to allow me to get this up and running.
Florida interNACHI is here for the entire State - and it is here to stay.
It does not deminish or remove the importance of the local Chapters.
(Its very late so please forgive my spelling)

Hi Zoe

Nothing here about Florida testing-licensing, just wanted to say it was nice to meet you and Dennis at Riverview, I still cannot believe Gerry is not with us.

I completely agree with you Billy. I never indicated he was. But thank you for confirming (as an "active" member of the Armed Forces) what Doug refuses to acknowledge.

Electronic finger prints are quicker. They may even be required by now.

According to the Florida DBPR license application states that if you are applying for Licensure by Grandfathering you must submitt proof of certified home inspector by having passed "proctored" state test or a national association examination on home inspection services. Is the online testing that i took in 2005 from NACHI adequate since it is a national association.? I say yes , am i correct in stating this.
