Apparently beginning July 1st 2008 Baltimore county MD has a new law requiring all landlords of small multi unit apartment buildings to get a home inspection once every three years.
Anybody have more info? Here is a link to the story. http://homeimprovementnews.blogspot.com/ |

It's been going on in Missouri cities for years.
The inspections are "code" inspections conducted by city inspectors (or those contracted by the city) with a short list of "priority" items. The folks pay anywhere from $75 to $95 for these inspections. |

Hi Bob,
Jim is correct many jurisdictions require that rental properties are issued a new CO every "X" years or whenever the tennant changes. Regards Gerry Virtue is more to be feared than vice, because its excesses are not subject to the regulation of conscience.
