Home Inspection Requirements in Florida

Does anyone know if home inspections will become required as part of a residential real estate transaction in florida when the new home inspection laws come into effect in July 2010 (or, for that matter, are there any current requirements for home inspections in florida)?

Currently we be the wild, wild east with no requirements, once licensing comes 2010(?) it will be much the same only then you will have to pay for the privilege.

Yeah...that's what I thought, but wanted to see if anyone heard otherwise. The Statutes just talk about how much more difficult it will be for us to make a living...as you mention below!
