Now, just make the pilgrimage to Austin at least least once in your life and display the hook-em horns sign outside DKR-Memorial stadium, sing the Eyes of Texas, travel down to San Antonio and genuflect at the entrance to the Alamo and then finally go to the I-35 bridge over the Red River and moon Oklahoma and you will have atoned for your transgressions and will be then considered a normalized Texan.

Tells us up north how this works. Are these folks considered Inspectors and need to be licensed as such - Being a yankee, I would doubt that.

Now you know what we're up against. We are being controlled by the Texas REAL ESTATE Commission.

That was a pre-requisite in Basic Training and did that one.

Now I'm really confused. You say they license code inspectors throughout the state of Texas - wowie.

Been down there 3-4 times in the past few years looking at construction defects or moisture problems in stucco for owners for potential litigation. Never had anyone tell us we needed any type of license.

The Texas Real Estate Commission licenses home inspectors, aka real estate inspectors. We are only licensed for 1-4 family residences. If a buyer or seller in a real estate transaction decides to hire a home inspector, the inspector must be licensed and the TREC form must be used.
