LOL Perhaps he will moved to Canada, He is going to have a hard time finding a country that does not have some kind of Public health care . Perhaps some little island he can claim for himself. But then it would need to have a airport to drop off his prescriptions off.

Are home inspectors members of the SEIU in the mid west? Kind of sounds like some may be.
It will be interesting to see how this all shakes out. Since I'm retired, gotta pension, soc security check and the best and one of the most successful mold inspection businesses in Florida, I don't really care. But I'am glad I'm not in the 82nd Airborne today, don't think I could stand to salute Obama. I have enough gold, I can get my health needs somewhere. Can't believe all the lib's will be able to. Sunny and warm here in Florida, just stopped by the office to pick up the vette for our Sunday ride, store it in the office garage. y'all enjoy the "change". BTW Over the past few years, it has been reported numerous times that our costs for health care procedures are about 1/2 American cost. This past summer, I consulted on an energy retrofit of a house for a couple of specialist doctors. They had worked in Washington state in their first years out of college. One of them told me about an acquaintance there that needed a knee "replacement"-cost locally was $45,000-50,000. She contacted a doctor friend in Alberta; cost $10,000-$12,000 in a private clinic. One large item in the cost differential is reported to be the $$$$$$$$$ spent in administration by the private insurance companies....each with their own system rather than a single integrated system for, say, at least each state. Not many people want the responsiblity so.......they envisage the gov as something remote and distant from themselves and...... blame it for their own shortcomings of not knowing or even caring about the issues!!!!!
They don't realize that they may be able to change things for the better if they truly took an interest!! |

Not true....
Government exist by creating laws and regulation whereby the governed become dependent upon the government. They set up a system that even when any individual politician is kicked out of office, the laws and regulations they enacted while in office are all but impossible to overturn. When was the last time a temporary tax was ever repealed. I here Joey, you and other liberals already claim victory for the proposed health care program that Obama is trying to push down our throats..... yet the majority of the populace does NOT want it.... at least the way it is fashioned.......so much for the government getting our permission. Matter of fact Pelosi is trying to get it passed without actually have a straight vote which would go on record as to who was for or against it. Now considering that Obama campaigned on Hope and Change....... yet this is nothing but dirty politics. If they did have the votes then why do they want to be secretive about it.......why not vote now. They may get the votes but I can guarantee you that they dont have them right now......... Obama is running around doing some arm twisting. What is really pathetic is that this is nothing but a muse...... to take the spotlight off of the real problem.......that being the economy. Funny how Bill Clinton used the phrase "it's the economy stupid" to keep Bush I from being re-elected...yet the dems are quite about the economy now. The dems will loose control of congress...you can bank on that.....if the health care passes it will be in big numbers. We will probably see this week or next as to who the congressman are beholding toward.......Obama or their constituents. |

Next week when the health care reform bill is signed into law....will Rush be doing his show from Costa Rica or will Glenn Beck take over the program and urge Christians to boycott Easter and call Jesus a Nazi, again?

Depends on what poll you believe. NBC just reported that it's split 45/46.

Montana governor wants to get drugs from Canada
By MATT GOURAS, Associated Press Writer Matt Gouras, Associated Press Writer Thu Mar 11, 6:48 pm ET HELENA, Mont. – Gov. Brian Schweitzer said Thursday that he is seeking federal permission to import cheaper drugs from Canada for use in state insurance programs. Schweitzer said he thinks the move could chop 40 percent off the $100 million the state spends each year on prescription drugs for Medicaid, the children's health insurance program, state employees, and inmates at the prison. "We know we can save a lot of money," Schweitzer said. The governor said he envisions the state setting up a deal with a Canadian wholesaler that could mail the drugs to local pharmacies on insurance plans paid for by the state. In the case of the prison, the governor said he expects the state would order those directly. The U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services said Thursday it had not yet seen Montana's request and couldn't comment. Schweitzer was first involved in the issue during an unsuccessful U.S. Senate run in 2000, when he made cheap Canadian drugs a cornerstone of his platform and would take busloads of seniors north of the border to buy drugs. The issue has been debated in Washington, D.C., over the years. Recently, the U.S. Senate rejected a plan to let Americans import prescription drugs from abroad. Such a change would deprive drug makers of billions of dollars. Both the pharmaceutical industry and the Obama administration also have argued that such plans would not protect people from potentially dangerous or ineffective drugs — a notion at which Schweitzer and other supporters scoff. "These are the same drugs from the same places," Schweitzer said of the Canadian pharmaceuticals. Schweitzer is asking Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to exercise authority to certify the drugs to be safe, to waive Medicaid requirements that such funds only be spent within U.S. borders, and to make other allowances. Schweitzer said he decided to move forward with the idea now because Congress has not solved the problem with health care reform and because the state is desperately looking for ways to cut costs. "Desperate times make us desperate people," Schweitzer said. The governor said he hopes for a waiver within the year. Copyright © 2010 Yahoo! Inc. All rights reserved. If it passes it will be by unconstitutional means and will end up in the courts.

That's what the birthers threatened with the election. Nobody's buying it.
Face it....you lost the election...you lost the fight on health care. Move on to your next battle and stop re-playing the ones that you couldn't win. James H. Massachusetts get it
If President Obama and the Democrats repeat the mistakes of the health insurance mandate on a national level, they will bankrupt this country within four years,” Cahill said. “It is time for the President and the Democratic leadership to go back to the drawing board and come up with a new plan that does not threaten to wipe out the American economy.” He who knows nothing is closer to the truth than he whose mind is filled with falsehoods and errors - Thomas Jefferson - Founding Father |
