I just spoke explaining the exclusive relationship InterNACHI and IAC2 has with the leading respiratory research hospital in the world, National Jewish Health, that IAC2 has great training courses, and that IAC2 publishes a great text book on mold inspections. I also argued that IAC2 members should be immediately grandfathered.

Overall and in all honesty, I'd sum up the meetings this way:

In the mold portions of the meetings, IAC2 earned a lot of respect and gained a lot of ground. I can't really complain.

In the home inspection portions of the meetings, it was an all out InterNACHI rout. In my wildest dreams I couldn't have imagined that InterNACHI would totally dominate in terms of support, public testimony, and attendance. Total, 110% InterNACHI dominance. Nice work folks.

Gotta catch a plane home in 3 hours.

Only one correction, I have not been elected. I have been appointed to the Broward County Central Examining Board by the Broward County Commission. We license general and specialty contractors, fine contractors, revoke licenses, and award consumers money if a contractor does not pay the consumer back. Its a great job. It pays $0 as its a volunteer position. I feel it is a way to serve the community.
