Continuing Education Reminder

This letter is a reminder to all Kansas Registered Inspectors

Per K.S.A. 2008 Supp. 58-4509 Section 6 (b) (6), registered inspectors must obtain 16 hours of continuing education each year from a Board approved source. The Board has approved all continuing education credits that have been approved by the following sources:

  • American Society of Home Inspectors,
  • International Association of Certified Home Inspectors
  • National Association of Home Inspectors

Certificates verifying successful completion or the course and listing the
number of hours and the approving association will be required for
renewal.

The renewal form along with the requirements for renewal will be available
on the Board web site, www.ksinspectors.org, by mid October and we will
be accepting renewals at that time. Early renewal is appreciated to help
reduce the rush at the end of the year for the accounting firm handling this
process. All registrations expire on December 31st regardless of the issue
date.
