How rigouous can it be when you keep sending my little brother, that's never done an inspection, but passed your on line quiz 2 years ago, an email every couple months, requesting him to become a nacho certified inspector??

Last time he called me laughing about this, I did tell him for an additional few bucks he can become a nacho CMI with out having to prove anything, last I heard that is the route he's considering

This discussion is about an Executive Director of a national association who pays herself $44.00 per hour from the dues of her dwindling membership of 1,800 inspectors...and uses the rest to sue NACHI.

Actually, it is much worse. As Executive Director, she secretly owns the for-profit management company that appears to take 2/3rds of every member's hard earned dues. ($44 per hour times 4 employees times 250 days a years) divided by (1800 members times $300).

It wouldn't be so bad if she was gaining members and adding www.nachi.org/benefits.htm... but she is failing at both.

So she resumes legal hostilities by filing a motion complaining to the judge about this message board which I and many others at the settlement discussion all agreed would remain free speech.

I firmly believe that if anyone asked their own Ralph Wirth, who attended the meeting, he would confirm. I would be very surprised if he didn't.

So what is the judge likely to do, look over the settlement agreement and lecture them about petitioning the court to enforce something that contrary to the settlement?

Talk about the biggest joke in this industry, well you hit it. The CMI program is apperently run by Joe F. and is a complete joke as the owner has a higher more worth while designation that seems to be worth your effort. Check the web site!! CMI is a joke.

Why would any HI do that when they could go for the Gold and be certified by the same group at a much higher level?

Because becoming a "Certified Master Inspector" allows you to raise your prices even though your competitors charge less.
