I think if the training and lab confirmation was limited to the home inspection industry, then that would help protect the market for us a little more. Just like those little petri dishes they sell at Home Depot to test for mold, anyone can buy them but if you want better results...hire a trained professional with reliable resources.

I can see this ending up with the Home inspector in court testifying when the law goes after the owner of the fingerprints.
