In spite of some of the used house salesmen who remain locked in to the message, ASHI's branding program failed. Promoting the association at the members' expense did not stop NACHI, nor did it increase business for ASHI.

If you want to build up name recognition in your area and make NACHI known, do it through your local chapter.

If timed for the right exposure, say a major sporting event, other than the Super Bowl, should work. NASCAR races have some of the largest fan base, and they are extremelly loyal. Another option might be regional commercials on cable systems. Something to think about.

How about commercials on TLC, A&E...all these channels that have anything to do with homes. With all the "flipping" shows on t.v., all the DIY type shows out there. Those are the channels and audience we want. Not your local Channel 5 news.

These commercials can be purchased, locally. Check with your local chapter. The guys in Chicago experimented with radio advertising, recently, with the same objective in mind. Great projects for local chapters.
