Hi Russ,

I think there is probably alot more to what happened with this bill than anything that was done just in the last week or so. I am sure there are conscientious people in ALL sectors that are concerned and want to make sure that legislation enacted in Washington State is fair and balanced for al involved.

I think there is also a house bill, sponsered by Larry Springer, that may be as bad ss the senate bill, He has never seen a money stream he didn't like!! I know, he WAS mayor of Kirkland, Wa. Uped fees and anything he could tax!!!

Prentice one of the few state senators with a grasp on how intrusive state government is in this state. The battle mqay not be over!! Check Springers house bill!!!!

I am personally grateful to anyone who is willing to work against HI licensing legislature. What I have discovered in my studies is that most bills are sponsored only to promote the National Home Inspector's Exam and serve no other worthwhile purpose. Thanks goes out to everyone who diligently works to keep our profession free from government regulation which benefits only a select few who seek to control the market.

That reminds me, hopefully Lewis Capaul has learned a lesson in how democracy really works, as he was last seen channeling the late soviet premier Nikita Krushchev banging his shoe claiming he would bury NACHI.
