I read your blogs and they are the truth. Very well done. There are several other comparisons on price discrepancies.
- The loan origination fee
- The profit on the mortgage
- The home owners insurnace premium (every year)
- Real estate taxes

Home inspection has become the "patsy" of the real estate transaction. It is becoming an industry of disposable inspectors.

I do not have a solution. Sometimes I think mandatory E&O and 30,000 dollar premiums will give the Realtor and consumer what they deserve; expensive inspections (3 percent of the home value) done by a very few inspectors.
