WAHI, the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors is considering proposals to remove ASHI and that association-sounding for-profit company out of Minneapolis from their articles of incorporation and bylaws.

Whoa, way to think WAHI, here in MO and KS it looks like ASHI already has the board of directors all sewn up if licensing should pass.

Sometimes it just takes time to open up the eye's other times a 2x4 with some force directed at the forehead works. I'm sure in the long run that would be the best in the interests of the consumer.

OR it could be political to get EVERYBODY off the list (that sounds fair), then have the Board support 1 GROUP ONLY - Any feedback from WI guys.

The "Affiliate" route sounds like a good idea. As long it does not get politically involved. I'm glad WAHI is thinking about doing this. Will probably be better off for its members and the public. Sounds like they have had enough of being told what to do by some of the "Associations" to me. Maybe this will work out for us Wisconsin guys. I am sure Nick W will hae something nice to say about it later. Can't wait to hear that.

Yep- sounds like David Nice's vision of a neutral WAHI may come to fruitation. Once the dust has settled, I may consider joining ...
