Charge people to be listed in a directory for a service that isn't even available in the states they are living in! Make sure you charge them alot of money so that by the time they figure out they've been had, you will have made it worth screwing your "brothers and sisters" over and you can work on the next scheme while they cool down and forget what an *** you were.

Do you really enjoy slandering people Raymond? Home fluffer? Geeze. We haven't even had beds to sleep on this year. LOL. Real fluffy.

Because you have no idea what you are talking about.

Why don't you go make your MUPPET inspectors talk to each other some more.

Dave.

Lewis & Wendy.... How does that "filter" thing work? After reading what I thought might be an informative post on proposed legislation, I am left wishing I had a filter for all the grade school antics I had to wade through.
It is no wonder that people, like Gerry D, who sit on the advisory panel, on their own time, do not spend alot of time on these boards. There is not alot of value in nearly the entire post for them to even consider as a valuable. Maybe one page of relevant information, and 9 pages of the Wendy and Lewis drama.......It is a good thing serious legislative decisions aren't made on a forum like this.........

Your website speaks volumes about your abilities. No one to blame but yourself for that. Even the name Inspector Wendy is a joke. Greg is here to help people, what are you here for?

No, you're right. I need to ignore him. No matter how wrong he is and nasty, I need to just stop defending myself from crap. I have to remind myself of this periodically. So here goes another try at it.

The ESOP Committee is limited to responding to complaints made by members. In your complaint...not on this stupid message board where everybody's pee-pee is bigger than the other guy's pee-pee...you present your facts to support your complaint. The complaint is investigated, accordingly, and the committee makes a recommendation to Nick. It's that simple.

So, if you have a serious complaint that you would like to see addressed, you should follow the established procedure...much like you are expecting the Washington inspectors to do. File a complaint.

If your intentions are to simply take over this thread with your Canadian-like personal barb thread drift, then we can just consider this thread dead.
Like I said James, I market against those Inspectors who fail to obtain the required license and by doing so can potentially harm the Image of NACHI and its members, that's been my arguemnt for months, if you as a NACHI Official aren't concerned about it then why should I file a complaint, if I were going to do that it would be with the WSDA not with the ESOP committee, in other words if I were going to file a complaint against unlicensed Inspectors it would be with someone who could and would do something, I saw the ESOP Committee at work afther the NACHI Convention and the "Secret Tape" incident, I wasn't favorably Impressed.

I gave you a copy of the Law and WSDA's explanations and warning to realtors, along with the name and the email of the person in charge of the SPI program, if you think that my statements are just "Opinions" then check it out, because as far as I'm concerned this is your problem to enforce, just like I told Soumi when he asked for the names of Inspectors who weren't licensed, It's his job to find them not me, I gave him similar information, do a search for Inspectorsa and compare those names to his list of licensed SPI's.

When someone like Wendy starts telling new inspectors that they don't need that license like she did a few months ago, those New Inspectors need the correct information.

I apologize again for corrupting this thread, but I am sometimes facinated by how f****** little our Resident Expert In Everything Knows About Anything, except for tweaking you White KNights of Course.

I am not a "White Knight".

To me, Wendy and her antics are little more than comic relief and not to be taken seriously. My remarks were not to come to the aid of Wendy but an attempt to salvage a trashed thread that - at one point - was addressing the serious issue of socialization of our industry in your neighboring state of Washington.

I was not a part of the committee during the period that you mentioned, so I cannot comment on what you referred to from that period.

I can assure you that this message board, in its free and open "anything goes" atmosphere, is not the place for thin skin and there are few, if any, valid conclusions about the people who post here to draw from it.

It is a virtual world where anyone can pretend to be anyone we want to be, regardless of fact.

If I want to pretend that my name is Bryan Lynn "Whatchamcallit", buying a business from someone...I can. I can copy pages from cheap marketing books and tell you that I have employed everything in them, and convince you that I am a successful genius. It is a virtual world where people can pretend to do "12 inspections per day" and still have time for more than seven thousand posts.

I can claim that two thirds of all home inspectors will be out of business in three years...while the next guy claims that the remaining 1/3 will be sued..so they better buy his book and software. I can say anything I want on any subject I want, claim to be an expert, and find people who will believe me.

I can be lawyer...giving out "free legal advice" that often leads to the conclusion that you would be better off to purchase E&O insurance from the company that I forgot to tell you that I represent.

I can be a jealous wannabe electrical "guru" who creates fictitious posters to argue and taunt another electrical "guru".

Not too much of what one reads...outside of the technical threads...can be taken as scientific fact (or any other kind of fact). Accordingly, you will not find ESOP Committee members running around analyzing, challenging and acting upon the myriad of bovine fecal matter that fills these threads.

If you have a complaint...and if you submit it, with the evidence to support it, formally to the committee, it will be reviewed and appropriate action will be taken. If you choose to limit the conversation to this "chat room", that is your choice as well...but don't expect it to be taken any more seriously than the rest of this tripe.

I think your beating your head against a wall. Like James says why believe anything here including what he says. A great pontificator he is but no action. Lewis you raise very valid points and its beyond many how Windy got into this association. I guess it pays to know who you blow so to speak.

Its easy not to police anything. Instead of being proactive its non active.

You really don't like any one who disagrees with you Opinions do you James, there is one of your "examples" about who I tend to agree with you on, but even he has provided much more help and information to members of this board than you have

As far as filing a compalint with ESOP or on this "chat room" the reuslts would be the same, you preach a lot about Self Regulation of the HI industry but as an Official of the Largest Home Inspection association in the Whole Wide World you seem to think that someone else should police your members. Not me, I'll do my part to "Regulate" unlicensed Inspectors with the people who can provide the "Appropriate Actions", Potential Customers, Realtors, or the WSDA if needed.

At least any New Washington Inspector who has followed this Pi**ing contest will have no excuse not to know about the licensing requirements or how they can check out whether my statements were bull or Fact.

I see.

You are of the ilk that the individual has no duty or responsibility to act. All should be done by "the association" or the "government".

You are looking for the ESOP Committee to monitor and enforce what you feel should be done...much as, I assume, you will expect your government to do if you are successful in putting them in control of the inspectors in your neighboring state.

When they don't, will you be among those assisting local television reporters in setting up "sting" operations during Sweeps Month...to catch inspectors who miss the loose wall in the shower?

Lewis

James seems to practice mental and verbal masturbation. He tends to make suggestions that do not bare closer scrutiny. Just like he tried to explain why licencing would not work in Ontario. The only problem is he makes comments based on assumption and with out all the info. James tends to lend credence why this board needs to be tightened and why people like Wendy are allowed to practice when Nachi knows full well she is not qualified, but was given her CHI. This leaves the association open to legal challenge, and lends credence to what others have long alluded to that a dog or someone like Wendy can get in and pretend she is qualified. Its a disservice and a slap in the face to all Nachi members.

Thats the way I feel.

James, at times you are a lot like Wendy, you don't read or comprehend at all what those of you who disagree with you have to say.

I just told you, I'll REgulate the Unlicensed Inspectors who campete against me myself, I don't need you or your ESOP committee, or the Government to do it, although part iof my "regulation" will be to force the "governemtn" into enforcing existing laws that I and most others obey.

As far as the "Stings" go I said that would be the only way to provide proof, and earlier I said that "Stings" would be tool that could be used to force lthe passage of legislation or to embarrass NACHI.
