This question goes out to the Washington home inspectors that are also InterNachi members. I recently joined InterNachi and I know the SOP is slightly different than the State SOP. Has anyone found the exact difference between the two? If I say that I follow the InterNACHI SOP does that meet or exceed the State SOP or should I list that I follow both SOP? Any discussion on this subject is greatly appreciated.

Real simple. As required by law, you must follow the Washington State SOP. No ifs, ands or buts. If you would like a PDF version of the State SOP, I have it reduced down to 2 sheets of paper printed on both sides. Just send me a PM or email.

THe NACHI Code of Ethics requires you to follow your State law, which requires compliance with your State's SOP.
Follow the law. |
