Who wants to live with high voltage lines buzzing in the backyard, anyway? I'm convinced you could build a house 100' from a sewage plant and someone would buy it.

Did I look at that wrong... or was a 2X used as a post?
Was 2X material attached on either side with nails only? Eee gads. BTW.. I've had to use hardware when stringers land like that here. Is that a req. there, or could they have pressure blocked? Just curious. We used to be able to pressure/shear block a lot of stuff.... not so much anymore. |
