Yeah, but a bug zapper and a six pack and you got some quality entertainment. The problem most people have is they tend to set it up right next to where they intend to sit, thus attracting those bugs that are turned on by the light, right to themselves. The idea is to set it up some distance away from where your seating is. We had one when I lived in Hawaii otherwise the moths and numerous other flying critters would drive you inside or drive you nutz. I don't think I ever encountered a mosquito over there but plenty of other exotic insects that came out at night.

"War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things; the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing is worth a war, is worse. A man who has nothing which he cares more about than he does about his personal safety is a miserable creature who has no chance at being free, unless made and kept so by the exertions of better men than himself."

- John Stuart Mill

I like to use a bullwhip to zap bugs. A man who can demolish bugs with a bullwhip can accomplish anything. Beer only makes the accomplishment more satisfying. If I'm using double-handed stockwhips, both the bugs and the spectators disappear twice as fast.
