Cheap Patio

This is the cheapest patio I've ever seen. Looks closely. They are sheets of Particleboard. It's hard to tell if they put the lines on it to look like tile or they actually had tiles on it at some point.

The nice thing about particleboard, just like sawdust, is that it's very acidic, and damn near nothing (especially weeds) will grow there for a long time.

I've seen carpet used as a patio (little Mexico).

The weird thing is it wasn't rough or swollen at all. It was smooth. Maybe they put something on it. I like the carpet idea. It gives a new meaning to indoor/outdoor carpet.
