Default Chimney Height

I know this subject has been asked before but I could not really find the answer I was looking for.

Can anyone tell me if there is a specific or recommended maximum height for a masonry chimney such as the one shown in the attached pic. I estimate this chimney to be approximately 12'-14' above the roof line. It appears straight and stable but am not comfortable with the height.

Thanks.
