Do you think this deck needs such "sophisticated" support?

Might be a problem if, instead of jacking the deck UP, the jack jacks the brick DOWN. In that case, I would definitely recommend a second used car jack. =)

I hear the duct tape guys are getting really upset about the multiple uses for car jacks.
