Unacceptable
Did they pull permits?
Do it right the first time?

Recommend ripping off all decks and using wood as firewood in the new chimney/fireplace that needs to be constructed.

The undersized joists and joist hangers are very scary. I would not let my cat walk on those decks. Wait, I do not own a cat

Bad idea as it likely contains Arsenic which is not destroyed by the fire.
