EIFS or Stucco

Hi there, looked at house today that had stucco like finish on front that came down and ended at the stone veneer. I've never seen any EFIS myself but it did not appear to be regular stucco. It was kind of spongy and did give when you pushed hard on it. Also should there be some kind of weep screed on it? It came down to stone veneer which continued all the way to ground with no visible weep holes or screeds. I'll put a couple of photos in, not sure if they wil help though.
