no no, its briliant! pure genius
you see.. if it is warm on the outside of the house then it will be warm on inside too. The design allows one to heat the air enveloping the house BEFORE IT ENTERS THE HOUSE. Wow ! Did he get those plans from Davinci?

( whoah.. that was a lot of sarchasm , i must rest now)

maybe the fireplace was put up first, and the builder just put the house on the wrong side !....
